I have used the Award to Advance My career, training, and working towards an HGV Licence. I am currently gaining lots of experience whilst working on the theory test and hope to be fully qualified soon. The award made a real difference to progressing with my licence.

MARTHA MALCOLM

Martha Malcom received the award in October 2023 to contribute towards a 3D printer, giving her the ability to create more products for her jewellery business and work on her own 3D printing skills. Martha is from Marvig and is currently studying HND Jewellery at Glasgow Kelvin College.

I did manage to get my 3D printer along with some resin for printing. It's been such a great opportunity for me and I'm so grateful for the grant. Without it I wouldn't have been able to afford the printer. Many of my ideas are inspired by the Isle of Lewis. I'm excited to see how my business will grow, and this grant has given it a good start!
